No more Bam!
Nov. 27th, 2007 04:31 pm"Emeril Live" goes "Bam"!
The Food Network has confirmed that “Emeril Live'’ — once the flagship of its primetime schedule — will cease production of new episodes in mid-December after 10 seasons.
While I am no fan of Emeril, my kids are. Likely because he is so energetic, but they are becoming Alton fans.
I will actually never forget the day my daughter (she was 4 or 5 at the time) started singing in Waldenbooks:
(to the tune of "Bob The Builder)
Em-eril Lagasse
Can we Cook it?
Em-eril Lagasse
Yes we can!
But I digress.
It's a shame that several of the mainstays (whether I like them (Mario Batali) or not (Emeril)) are being kicked to the curb like this. It's one thing to develop new talent (I like Guy), but to just drop the people WHO MADE YOU seems...wrong to me.
