Proud geek dad crowing
Mar. 30th, 2008 10:48 pmSo, I had a great geek moment today.
Today was the day that dwarven warrior Franush Doomhammer, elven ranger Alexia Eveningfall, and rogue Lindsey were able to save more than a half-dozen of the citizens of Briston from a horrible fate at the hands of the brutish bugbear named Broot, his orc and kobold underlings, and the monstrous arachnid which they "worshipped".
Yep, I ran the kids through their first D&D adventure. In the treasure chest of the Bugbear, they found a map which purported to lead to the lost stronghold of Roghan the Fearless and Zelligar the Unknown.
Soon, they shall go off In Search of the Unknown.
I hope they do better than Laggamundo did...
(Side note: They have the same damned luck as
mousecat0. Critical hits on the "big bads", taking away 75% of their hits in one shot...)
