...for the 2007 football season.

And I mean real Football. American Football. Not soccer.

I like hockey, college hoops. But nothing gets me going like Football.

And baby, my beloved Philly Eagles are looking Mighty Fine. Mighty Fine Indeed.

Every time I read the camp updates and other articles on the website, my adrenaline pumps, I start shaking, thee excitement builds...WOOOOOOOO!!

You'd think I was getting ready to play instead of being an overweight, dumpy fan!

But then, if I lived closer, I'd be the one of the near-record number of fans at camp watching in the heat and haze of summer. I'd be a tailgater at the stadium, not necessarily with seats, but with grill, food, beeer, and havin' fun! For the last several years, I've laid out the $$$ to hear Merrill Reese, longtime radio voice of the Eagles over the 'Net. I use the DVR to delay the televised games enough to sync with the radio broadcast (and thanks to

mousecat0 for coming up with that idea!).

I bleed Eagles Green.

So, yeah, I'm looking forward to the new season. Fantasy football, Football Pick 'em, the whole lot. Sunday afternoons watching the games.

And one of these days, I will have to make that fateful pilgrimage and visit Lambeau Field. Because, really, all real fans need to make that journey.

But alas, my lunchbreak draws to a close, and I have to get back to the grind.
