Velcome to Monday

Yeah, I'm a bit on the cheerful side this AM, even though I am at work and it is, in fact, Monday. However, looking at the bright side of things, I also woke up on the correct side of the grass this morning. Ergo, it's a good day.
The weekend was good. After work, we (being the 4 of us, my parents, my mother in law and sister in law) went to dinner at BD's Mongolian Barbeque for B's birthday dinner, where we ate prodigious quantities of stir fry. mousecat0 went back to NJ with my folks for a weekend away and to go to kel_kel_82's baby shower.
Meanwhile, the kids and I went out for haircuts on Saturday, had lunch at Baja Fresh, then went home and watched Doctor Strange and Justice League: The New Frontier. I also made corn dogs for us, using Alton Brown's recipe. I'll provide more info and thoughts on these items later.
Once the kids were in bed, it was time for some Warcrack. I've decided (for the moment) that I want to work on my Paladin exclusively until he hits 70. I'm about 3/4 of the way to 68, so it's not that bad...yet. LOL.
On Sunday, B. went over to my sister-in-laws to go bike riding. When she got there, however, my s-i-l had forgotten to set her clock forward. Oops. So, they only went for a little ride. We had some french toast and scrapple for brunch, then cleaned the dining room and watched some TV until we got the word thatluvmomh & mousecat0 were on their way. We zipped up to Chesapeake house to meet them, had some dinner, and came back home, whereupon most of us fell asleep.
Overall, a good weekend. Relaxing, got some work done, and generally had a good time. Shame the weather was nasty.

aynne_witch: I hope the road trip doesn't come to pass. I have a bad feeling I'll end up in Gilgamesh Wulfenbach's position in these two (1 & 2) Girl Genius comics. Both speechifying and thumping.
aylinn & gypsy_sylvin: Y'all can stop by whenever and get your Girl Scout goodness. Just give a call first.
